Glendale City Council, On the Move

Glendale, CA - The Glendale City Council is committed to transparency of local government and engaging an informed community. This month, the City Council will hold two special meetings outside City Council Chambers to further this mission. As the Council has pushed to ebb the amount of development in the downtown specific plan (DSP) area, the opportunity has arisen to repurpose the afternoon hours to conduct a site visit of Glendale’s critical systems and programs. The purpose of these on site sessions is to put boots on the ground and allow the Councilmembers to familiarize themselves with the people and operations that deliver services to Glendale residents and businesses. March's "Work Boot" meeting will be at the Glendale Police Department on Tuesday, March 24 at 3:00 pm. Residents are invited to join the City Council for a Police Department overview, field operations familiarization, and a site visit of the Glendale Police Department.

On Tuesday, March 31, the City Council will hold a special City Council in Your Neighborhood meeting at the Sparr Heights Community Center at 6:00 pm. Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting to discuss topics important to North Glendale.
