Brand Associates' Dance Series
Glendale, CA - The Brand Associates' Dance Series presents four performances this fall at Brand Library & Art Center, 1601 W. Mountain St., Glendale, CA 91201. This series presents top dance companies from Southern California performing in the Skylight Gallery, an intimate setting with works of art as a backdrop. The artists are:

- Blue13 Dance Company - October 10, 2015
- Arianne MacBean & The Big Show Co. - October 17, 2015
- Pony Box Dance Theatre - October 31, 2015
Sarah Reich’s tap music project is a band consisting of tap dancers and musicians. In 2011, world-renowned performer and choreographer, Sarah Reich started the band with tap dancers focusing on their art form as a percussive instrument and soon began to collaborate with musicians to write original music based on tap dance.
blue13 dance company is a contemporary Indian dance theatre ensemble led by Artistic Director Achinta McDaniel. The Company performs in its signature Neo-Kathak and Bollywood-Tech styles, modern dance work that is highly energetic, colorful, and theatrical, and inspired by the classical and cultural dance of India. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for this interactive event!
Arianne MacBean & The Big Show Co. integrates movement, text, theater, visual imagery and music. Playful, enigmatic and engaging, The Big Show Co. will present The Collective Memory Project, a work-in-progress based on memories of local veterans, performers, and audience members.
pony box dance theatre, founded by Jamie Carbetta, integrates visual art to create theatrical, unpredictable contemporary dances. The troupe will present The Line, a dance for seven men that explores the phenomenon of conformity and the eternal tension between the demands of the collective and the needs of the individual in human relations.
The performances begin at 2pm and are free and open to the public. An accessible entrance and parking is located on the East side of the building.
