‘A Changing Workplace @ CBRE’ at Glendale Tech Week

Glendale, CA Rick Caruso, CEO and Founder of Caruso Affiliated, and Lewis Horne of CBRE have been announced as speakers for Glendale Tech Week. Caruso is responsible for properties with some of the highest-grossing retail centers in the world, including the iconic Americana at Brand in Glendale. Horne is CBRE’s President of the Greater Los Angeles-Orange County Region, and has over 25 years of professional experience in brokerage.  Caruso and Horne will present a panel discussion on changing workplace. It will take place Wednesday, September 14 from 4:00 – 5:00 pm in CBRE’s offices in the recently renovated Masonic Temple.

Additional events just announced for Glendale Tech Week include “Meet the Funders,” a networking night hosted at Chef Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm on Wednesday, September 14. Guests will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from venture capitalists and investors including S3 Capital and TDA Partners.

National companies, such as LegalZoom and YP, will also be hosting speaker events in their headquarters in downtown Glendale. LegalZoom will host a lunch and panel discussion with Chief Technology Officer Sham Telang and Chief Marketing Officer Laura GoldbergYP will host “Building Mobile Apps and Web Experiences for Consumers,” an innovative presentation on their successful search with local experts. Stu MacFarlane, Executive Vice President Consumer Platforms, and Damon Clecker, Vice President Consumer Product Management, will share their experiences and insight on creating the #2 local search destination in the U.S.  Meet both the LegalZoom at 12:00 pm and YP team at 1:30 pm on Thursday, September 15.
