Child Safety Seat Checks

Glendale CA – The Glendale Police Department offers Child Safety Seat inspections/installations to prevent safety seat injuries to children. These inspections are intended to correct the over 80% of car seats for children that are used incorrectly and educate the nearly 60% of adults that are unaware of the laws governing the use of car seats for children. California law requires children under 8 years of age or under 4’9” in height to be secured in a rear seat in a child passenger restraint system.

Inspections are available by appointment only on Wednesdays by calling 818-548-3132.
