Glendale Tech Week: Pitchfest
Glendale, CA - The City of Glendale opens applications for the Glendale Tech Week Pitchfest! Companies specializing in science or technology products and/or startups with zero-to-nominal revenues are invited to submit. Companies selected to compete in the Glendale Tech Week Pitchfest will have the opportunity to compete for a $20,000* prize package in front of a live audience, angel investors and VC judges at the Alex Theatre on Thursday, October 12.
Each company founder (must be founder who presents) will have between 7 to 10 minutes to complete their pitch followed by five minutes for Q&A. Companies selected to participate will also have an opportunity to attend an advance coaching session with the judges in an effort to perfect your pitch deck and address any pre-presentation questions. Deadline to apply is July 12.
Pitchfest is part of the Second Annual Glendale Tech Week, which will be held the week of October 9th with a City sponsored summit from October 11-12, 2017. Events will take place at the Alex Theatre, CBRE, Capital One, the Moose Den, the Maryland Paseo, and other exciting downtown venues. The theme for this year’s tech week is “A Start Up Journey,” which addresses everything from ideas to development to funding to marketing and more.
