Important Dates and Changes: Grayson Repowering, ADU's and More

The Glendale City Council invites the public to participate in discussions about the future of our City. The following events provide opportunities for residents to voice their thoughts and ideas on varying topics of importance to the community.

The Grayson Repowering discussion has been rescheduled for the February 6 council agenda. The new date allows for all five members of the City Council to be present. The discussion is part of the regularly scheduled city council meeting, which is held in Glendale City Hall Council Chambers on the second floor of 613 E. Broadway at 6 p.m. Learn more about Grayson Repowering here.

A Central Park Campus Design community meeting will be held on Saturday, January 20 at 1 p.m. at the Glendale Central Library on the second floor. Refreshments and childcare will be provided at both meetings. Free 3-hour parking will also be available at The Marketplace Parking Garage with validation. Translation services will be provided on site. Learn more here.

The Council discussion about the establishment of development standards for accessory dwelling units in Glendale will be continued at the Tuesday, January 30 Glendale City Council meeting, which will begin at 6 p.m. at Glendale City Hall Council Chambers.

Also join us for an exciting conversation about common themes and recommendations that will be included in the Glendale Public Art Master Plan on a new date, Thursday, February 1 at 7 p.m. at the Central Library. The City’s consultant team of Community Arts Resources (CARS) and Barbara Goldstein will share next steps for the City of Glendale to develop a successful public art program in our community. This conversation is open to all. Light refreshments will be provided. Free parking is also available with validation for the Marketplace Parking Structure. RSVP and learn more at myglendalepublicart.org.
