Celebrate Earth Day 2014: April 26

Glendale, CA - Attend the City of Glendale’s Earth Day Event on Saturday, April 26 from 11 am to 2 pm at the Pacific Community Center located at 501 S. Pacific Avenue to learn how to better care for our environment. Event features include an interactive water conservation show, rock climbing wall, face painting and environmental exhibitors.  Recycle used electronics at Vine Street and Kenilworth Avenue from 9 am to 3 pm.  Send used eyeglasses to Armenia through the Northwest Glendale Lions Club.  Enjoy live music, discounted food (while supplies last) and children’s’ activities.  Enter to win a drawing for a free bike, helmets and other environmental prizes.  Click here for the event website and flyer.
