Glendale Unveils New Website – www.GlendaleCA.gov

Glendale, CA – At the April 1, 2014 meeting of the Glendale City Council, the City of Glendale unveiled its new website, www.GlendaleCA.gov. The new website features a modern design, a well-configured, customer-centric navigation structure, and access to a variety of interactive features such as calendars and social media. Visitors of the site will be able to search and access content with ease, including performance indicators and budget reports.

The City of Glendale’s website is, for many people, the primary means of interfacing with the City. Addressing the needs of residents, businesses, and community members was the most important consideration in designing the site. “The new site engages citizens, provides easily accessible information, and delivers information when, where, and in whatever format citizens want it,” says Ashley Fruechting, Vision Internet’s director of strategic initiatives. Vision Internet responded to the City’s Request for Proposal which was opened December 17, 2012.  Vision Internet is a national leader in government website development with more than 500 government, non-profit and education clients in U.S. and Canadian communities. Over the past 18 years, the company has earned hundreds of prestigious awards for its unique websites, including numerous 3CMA Savvy Awards.

The City of Glendale encourages residents to explore the long-awaited website redesign and learn more about the city in which we live, work, and play! If any issues are discovered, please contact the webmaster at gcm@glendaleca.gov or 818-548-6459.
