Glendale Fire and Police Departments Show Gratitude to Local Hospital Healthcare Workers
WHAT: The Glendale Fire and Police Departments along with neighboring agencies plan to show gratitude to our three local hospital healthcare workers throughout the week at Glendale Memorial Hospital, Glendale Adventist Hospital, and Verdugo Hills Hospital. Personnel will line the front of the hospitals with lights and sirens to show appreciation to the healthcare workers in the emergency room and throughout the hospital for their tireless and selfless work during this COVID-19 pandemic.
WHO: The Glendale Fire Department, Glendale Police Department, and neighboring agencies.
WHEN & WHERE:
Monday April 13, 18:30-19:20 at Glendale Memorial Hospital located at 1420 South Central Ave.
Meeting location will be on W. Laurel St. between the hospital and the parking structure. This time period will allow us to honor the day and night personnel at shift change.
Tuesday April 14, 19:00-19:30 at Glendale Adventist Hospital located at 1509 Wilson Terrace. Meeting location will be at the Emergency Department Entrance off of Chevy Chase Dr. This time period will allow us to honor the day and night personnel at shift change.
Wednesday April 15, 14:30-15:00 at Verdugo Hills Hospital located at 1812 Verdugo Blvd. Meeting location will be on Verdugo Blvd in front of the hospital. We will acknowledge the day shift during their “daily huddle”. The healthcare workers will congregate on the rooftop deck looking down onto Verdugo Blvd.
Thursday April 16, 18:30-19:20 at Glendale Memorial Hospital located at 1420 South Central Ave. Meeting location will be on W. Laurel St. between the hospital and the parking structure.
Friday April 17, at 20:30-21:00 at Verdugo Hills Hospital located at 1812 Verdugo Blvd. Meeting location will be on Verdugo Blvd in front of the hospital. We will acknowledge the night shift during their “daily huddle”. The healthcare workers will congregate on the rooftop deck looking down onto Verdugo Blvd.
