Grant Funded Primary Collision Factor Enforcement

On Thursday, 7-2-20, from 7:00am to 1:30pm, the Traffic Bureau conducted a grant funded traffic enforcement operation citywide.  The operation focused on violations associated with Glendale’s most common primary collision factors.

 A total of 86 stops were made and 79 citations were issued as follows:

 47 -Excessive speed violations

22 - Stop sign violations

3 - Talking on cell-phone violations

1 - U-turn in a business district

2 - Red light violations

1 - Driving left of double yellow

1 - Failure to yield to pedestrian in crosswalk

1 - Impeding flow of traffic

1 - Failure to yield right of way entering roadway
