Gang Member Arrested Again For Multiple Taggings

On August 11, 2020, just after 10:00 a.m., an officer responded to a call of a vandalism (spray painting) in progress in the area of Pacific Ave and Colorado St.

Upon arrival, the officer located the suspect who was actively spray painting the sidewalk. Upon seeing the officer, the male threw the spray can and walked away.

The officer detained the male; identified as 31-year-old Enrique Zamora of Glendale, a self-admitted gang member, and noticed he had just spray painted gang-related graffiti on the sidewalk. While on scene, officers located several businesses in the immediate area that had the same gang-related graffiti on them in the same color paint that Zamora had used to spray paint the sidewalk. The damage caused to all of the businesses was estimated to be over $1,000.

Zamora was subsequently arrested and booked into the Glendale City Jail for felony vandalism and participating in a criminal street gang.

It should be noted that Zamora was previously arrested on July 16, 2020 for felony vandalism and participating in a criminal street gang. During this incident, Zamora spray-painted gang-related graffiti on several businesses causing extensive damage to them in this same exact area. A press release for that arrest can be found here.
