Stolen Motorcycle Located - Pair Arrested with Illegal Drugs

On Friday, 10/16/20 just before 4:00pm, an officer noticed a motorcycle parked over a parking curb in a motel parking lot on the 2900 block of E Colorado Blvd with expired registration and a false registration sticker on the license plate.  Further investigation revealed that the license plate on the motorcycle was actually registered to a Honda when the motorcycle was a Suzuki.  The officer attempted to check the VIN number of the motorcycle, but discovered it had been scratched off.

Officers determined a motel room at the location was associated with the motorcycle that was registered to 32-year-old Edwin Barkhordarian of Glendale, who was currently on probation.  Officers made contact with Barkhordarian and a female, identified as 26-year-old Hunter Hove of Glendale, inside of their motel room.  A search of the room revealed various motorcycle parts, methamphetamine, heroin, drug paraphernalia and a knife with built in brass knuckles.  A records check of Hove revealed she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

Barkhordarian was arrested and booked for vehicle theft, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and misuse of vehicle registration.  Hove was arrested and booked for possession of metal knuckles, possession of a controlled substance and her warrant.
