Glendale Library, Arts & Culture to Re-Open More Branch Locations

GLENDALE, CA— Glendale Library, Arts & Culture (GLAC) is planning to re-open all library branches based on safety guidelines from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (DPH). Glendale Central Library, Brand Library & Art Center, and Montrose Library re-opened in April. The remaining branches are now scheduled to re-open to public access, with some locations serving as Vote Centers for the September 14th Election. Per current DPH guidelines, masks are required for all visitors, regardless of vaccination status.

Opened August 2nd

Casa Verdugo Library

Mondays - Thursdays: 10am - 7pm

Fridays: 1pm - 6pm

Grandview Library

Mondays - Fridays: 1:30pm - 6pm

Opening September 7th

Library Connection @ Adams Square

Mondays – Thursdays: 11am - 7pm

Pacific Park Library

Mondays - Wednesdays: 2:30pm – 8pm

Thursdays: 10am – 6pm

Saturdays: 10am-5pm

Opening September 11th, with Vote Center Service

Chevy Chase Library

Wednesdays: 2pm – 8pm

Saturdays: 12pm – 5pm

Programs and events for all ages continue to be held virtually and most public services have been reinstated. All Glendale Library, Arts & Culture locations provide countless resources for the community to access – from books, movies & music to free and fast WiFi and computers, from ebooks and streaming media to adult literacy tutoring and social service support. GLAC’s popular contactless pickup of reserved materials is still available at Central, Brand & Montrose Libraries.
