Male Booked for Felony Reckless Driving
After Colliding into Two Pedestrians, a Business and an Apartment Building

On August 23, 2021 just after 1:00 p.m., Glendale PD officers responded to the intersection of Pacific Ave and Stocker St regarding a traffic collision. While on scene, officers determined that the driver, 18-year-old Hayk Torosyan of Glendale, was driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle, sideswiped another vehicle travelling westbound on Stocker St, collided into a bus bench near the intersection and two pedestrians, side swiped a business and then collided into an apartment building where his vehicle came to rest.

The pedestrians were treated by members of the Glendale Fire Department at the scene for minor injuries and did not require transportation to the hospital. Torosyan did not require medical attention. Torosyan’s vehicle was impounded and he was arrested and booked for felony reckless driving. Due to Los Angeles County’s emergency “Zero-Dollar” bail schedule, he was released from custody with a notice to appear in court on a future date.
