Male with Prior Felony Conviction Arrested for Carrying a Concealed Firearm

On September 15, 2021 at approximately 7:45 a.m., an officer assigned to Glendale Police Department’s patrol bureau located a vehicle in a parking lot on the 5000 block of San Fernando that had been reported stolen earlier that morning.

The vehicle was unoccupied, and while assisting units arrived, a male (later identified as 37-year-old Armen Davoudi of Tujunga) was seen loading merchandise into the vehicle. Officers contacted Davoudi, and a search of his person produced numerous credit cards belonging to other individuals, and a large amount of cash.

Officers also located a receipt for items Davoudi had purchased that morning with someone else’s credit card. During the investigation it was learned that Davoudi had committed a residential burglary earlier as well. Davoudi was arrested and booked for burglary, vehicle theft, and identity theft.

Davoudi’s bail was set for $50,000.

The vehicle was returned to its owner, and the victims of identity theft were contacted.
