Glendale To Swear in Re-Elected and Returning Councilmembers

Glendale, CA – The City of Glendale announces the upcoming swearing in of re-elected and returning Councilmembers following the March 2024 elections. Among the elected officials are incumbent Ardy Kassakhian and returning Councilmember, Vartan Gharpetian, who last served on Council in 2020 and replaces outgoing Councilmember, Paula Devine. Kassakhian and Gharpetian will serve four-year terms until 2028.

The swearing in and official Oath of Office will take place tomorrow evening beginning at 8:00 PM as part of a Special Council Meeting. Prior to the swearing in, the City Clerk will declare the results of the March 5th Election. The agenda for this meeting can be found here: Special City Council Meeting.

Due to the limited number of seats in the Council Chambers, the public can view the meeting live on YouTube or GTV.
