Glendale Police Department makes significant breakthrough in investigation into string of commercial burglaries

GLENDALE, CA – The Glendale Police Department has made a significant breakthrough in the investigation into a string of commercial burglaries.

Glendale Police Department Burglary/Auto-Theft Detectives executed an arrest warrant on May 1, 2024, apprehending a suspect believed to be responsible for a series of seven commercial burglaries, including five in one night.

Charles Christopher, 24 of Compton was arrested at his home where detectives recovered several items directly linked to burglarized Glendale businesses.

GPD Detectives presented their case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, resulting in the filing of six felony burglary charges and four vandalism charges against the suspect.

The investigation remains ongoing, and detectives are committed to pursuing all leads.
