City Hall to Hold Memorial Day Ceremony
Glendale, CA – The City’s annual Memorial Day Ceremony, will be held on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 9:30 AM. The ceremony will take place outside Glendale City Hall at Memorial Wall, located at 613 E. Broadway, Glendale, CA 91206, closest to the corner of E. Broadway and Isabel St. This event is an opportunity to remember and honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives in service to our country.
The event will be emceed by Glendale’s Deputy Police Chief Andrew Jenks, with Lieutenant Alex Krikorian, a distinguished US Marines Veteran, delivering the keynote address. The ceremony will include a presentation of colors, a flag salute, and the singing of the national anthem, paying tribute to our nation's heroes. The Glendale Police Department Color Guard and Glendale Police Explorers will take part in the presentation of colors and the laying of the roses, respectively.
The community is encouraged to attend and participate in this important event to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country’s freedom.
