IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PET OWNERS

Licensing Service is Changing

Beginning July 1, 2022, your pet licensing services will be provided by Pasadena Humane.

An online Pasadena Humane Pet Licensing Portal is scheduled to open by the end of July. The Online Portal will allow Glendale residents to purchase and renew their pet’s license from anywhere.

During the transitionary period, pet licenses can be purchased or renewed by:

  • contacting the Pasadena Humane Licensing Department at 626.792.7151 ext. 115 or licensing@pasadenahumane.org , or
  • by taking a completed licensing application and payment in a sealed envelope to the City’s Licensing Drop Box at 633 E. Broadway, #101.

Pet licenses are required for all dogs 4 months and older in Glendale. Kennel permits are required for keeping 3-4 dogs at a Glendale residence. All licensing proceeds support Pasadena Humane’s lifesaving programs and services. To learn more about Pasadena Humane’s licensing program, visit pasadenahumane.org/licensing.
