Transient Occupancy Tax

The Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT), also known as room tax or bed tax, is a tax collected by an operator from each guest, or transient, with the room payment and, subsequently, remitted to the City of Glendale. Please refer to the Glendale Municipal Code, Section 4.32 for definitions of hotel, guest room, operator, transient and rent.

Current TOT rate in the City of Glendale is 12%
