Officer Paul Shubunka and K9 Dante have been partners since September 2021. Dante is a German Shepherd and was born on June 28, 2020 in the Czech Republic.  Dante’s commands are in Czech. Paul and Dante attended a 5-week basic K9 academy at Adlerhorst International in Riverside, California. They successfully passed the California P.O.S.T. requirements and assigned to patrol. K9 Dante is cross-trained in narcotics detection.
