Virtual TNO 9_24_2020Virtual Teen Night Out Presents:

"Positive Mental Health For Teens At Home"

On Thursday, September, 24, 2020, the Youth & Family Services Section will present “Positive Mental Health For Teens At Home” with a virtual Teen Night Out (TNO) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The presentation will be conducted by Dr. Ilin Magran, with the Glendale Unified School District.  Dr. Magran will share suggestions on how teens can maintain positive mental health during the pandemic. Good mental health, according to the World Health Organization, is defined as a state of well-being where individuals are able to realize their own potential, work productively, and cope with the normal stresses of life. Good mental health is characterized by a person's ability to fulfill a number of key functions and activities, including the ability to learn, feel, express, and manage a range of positive and negative emotions. During the training, teens will discover ways to stay upbeat and joyful during these difficult times.

Teen volunteers will be able to receive volunteer hours for attending the virtual Teen Night Out meeting. Teens interested in attending our virtual TNO meetings should email John Maghaguian at jmaghaguian@glendaleca.gov or call (818) 937-7247. Follow us on Instagram @myglendaleteens.
