Film Permits Process 

Looking for a great place to host your next filming project? The City of Glendale Community Services & Parks Department welcomes filming in parks and community buildings! Our parks and locations can accommodate: Feature Films, Commercials, Music Videos, Public Service Announcements, Still Photo Shoots, Reality TV Series, Documentaries, Director’s Reels, and Student Films.  FLYER 

Film Permits Include:

  • Reserved site
  • Professional Site Host onsite to ensure film crew has access to reserved site
  • Well-maintained locations that are clean and ready for set dressing if applicable

  • Criminal Minds TV Series
  • "Moneyball"
  • "Downsizing"
  • Glad Commercials
  • Bones TV Series
  • Music Videos
  • Various other projects

Requesting a Film Permit

  1. Complete a Parks Film Permit Application, and verify park/facility availability with Matt Acosta.  
  2. Once your Parks site is approved, submit a FilmLA application at https://my.filmla.com.
  3. A site meeting may be scheduled in conjunction with the Application.
  4. Make payment in full to City of Glendale, and receive your Parks Film Permit.
  5. Make payment in full to FilmLA, and receive your FilmLA Permit.
