 Male Arrested for Carrying Loaded Firearm in Public

Just before midnight on September 8, 2022, a Glendale PD patrol officer was driving along the 500 block of W. Colorado St. when they observed a vehicle parked in a parking space designated as disabled without a visible disabled placard displayed.  The officer observed a male exit a nearby business and approach the vehicle.  While speaking with the male, identified as 21-year-old Martin Ramos of Los Angeles, the officer observed a firearm in the back of the vehicle.  Assisting units arrived, and further investigation revealed the firearm was loaded and unregistered.  Officers then located a baggie of cocaine on Ramos’s person.  Ramos was ultimately arrested and booked for possessing a controlled substance while armed and carrying a loaded firearm in public.
