Branko was a Male German Shepherd from Germany. He was trained in basic Schutzhund training, meaning that he had some formal training in protection work. Branko completed a 5 week patrol K-9 school in Ventura, CA where the dogs learned obedience, tracking, protection work, suspect searches in building and open areas, and article (evidence) searches. Branko was trained to detect marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, ecstasy and opium.

In 2016, Branko retired from the Glendale Police Department. Thank you Branko for your dedicated service to the Glendale community. You will be missed!
