K-9 Isy joined the Glendale Police Department in January 2012.  She was a 2 year-old German Shepherd from Germany and was assigned to K-9 handler Officer Shawn Sholtis.  They attended a 5-week Basic Patrol K-9 school and a 4-week Explosive Detection school in Ventura, CA.

 In 2012, K-9 Isy retired from the Glendale Police Department.  Thank you for your dedicated service to the Glendale community.
