Organizers of large events play a large role in supporting the City’s goal of reducing waste.  

Large events (average 2,000 persons per day) where an admission fee is charged are required to file:
• A City permit.
• A waste reduction event plan in accordance with AB 2176: Venue and Event Waste Reduction. 

Event Organizers are required to utilize the services of the City's franchise hauler, as appears on this map.
