"Being Water Wise Is..." Student Art Contest

We are thrilled to announce the winners of this year's "Being Water Wise Is..." Art Contest, which received an impressive number of creative submissions. Glendale students created stunning art that showcased their commitment to water conservation. Thank you to all our participants!

The art contest was open to all K-12th grade Glendale students. Students were asked to submit artwork portraying the water-wise theme "being water wise is....", along with a short message about water conservation. 

First place winner will receive a iPad mini, 2nd place winner will receive a $50 Barnes & Noble Gift Card, and 3rd place winner will receive a $25 Barnes & Noble Gift Card for their talents.

  1. Teo Kim, a 2nd grade student from Mark Keppel Elementary School, took first place!
  2. Emin Abdian, a 7th grade student from Eleanor J. Toll Middle School, came in second place!
  3. Daisy Aram Kim, a 5th grade student from Mountain Avenue Elementary School, came in third place! 

A total of 15 entries were selected by GWP and submitted to Metropolitan Water District (MWD) for a final round of competition, and additional prizes and recognition.
