Building Energy Use Benchmarking and Public Disclosure Program
Effective January 1, 2017, AB 802 requires each California utility, upon the request and the written authorization of the owner, owner’s agent, or operator of a covered building, as defined, to deliver or provide aggregated energy usage data for a covered building to the owner, owner’s agent, operator.
Business Energy Upgrade Program
Direct installation of GWP incentivized energy upgrade measures.
Peak Savings for Businesses
Participants of this demand-response program will receive an average of up to $50 per kW saved in incentives each year.
Feed-in Tariff Program - FiT

MWD's Water Savings Incentive Program (WSIP)
WSIP is designed for non-residential customers improving their water efficiency through upgraded equipment or services that do not qualify for standard rebates. WSIP is unique because it provides an incentive based on the amount of water customers save. This “pay-for-performance” design lets customers implement custom projects for their sites.
Provides $2.00 per square foot for replacing your grass with CA Native Plants. This program is administered by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD).
Glendale Fiber Optic Broadband Network Project
GWP currently owns and operates approximately 98 miles of fiber optic network within Glendale’s city limits. The existing service is only dark fiber and the majority of connections are for municipal and utility communication systems with limited commercial access. In order to meet the increasing demand for high speed fiber optic services in the City of Glendale, the City Council has authorized the development of a Fiber Optic Business Plan.
Net Energy Metering (NEM) Program
Although incentives are no longer offered, GWP continues to make NEM available to customers who are interested in installing solar photovoltaic systems in their home or business. With NEM, solar customers are eligible to receive a bill credit for any excess generation produced by their solar system and have the credit applied to their account when it is needed.
Non-NEM Generation and/or Energy Storage System Interconnection
Customers are able to interconnect customer owned or managed Non-NEM eligible generation and/or Energy Storage systems with GWP's electrical system.
