When there's an outage, we know how important it is for you to have the most up-to-date information. Now you have an easy way to report, and stay informed about outages through GWP’s new Outage Information Text Alerts!  

HOW IT WORKS

Click here to register your cell phone number with your electric and/or water accounts online. You will need to provide your GWP account number to enroll. 

Once enrolled, we will text you:

• If we detect a power or water outage in your area, with the estimated time we’ll have service restored.
• A status update, if the estimated restoration time changes, or if we have restored service in your area.

Once enrolled, you may text us:

• You may text message us at 1-855-550-4497 to report water and electric outages once your account is enrolled to receive GWP Text Alerts. 
• Text OUT to report a power outage. 
• Text WATER to report a water outage. 
• Text STATUS to get updates.
• Text HELP for more information.
• Text QUIT to opt out.
