Project Location

• The project location is on South Verdugo Road between Colorado Boulevard and Southerly City limits. Please see project location map below.

Scope of Work

• Selective removal/reconstruction of deteriorated pavement and placement of asphalt concrete pavement
• Resurfacing of street pavement
• Selective removal, repair, and reconstruction of approximately of damaged curbs and gutters, sidewalks, driveways, cross gutters, alley aprons, and local depressions
• Construction and modification of curb ramps to meet ADA guidelines
• Upsize of sanitary sewer main line, sanitary sewer repairs and lining
• Adjustment of existing manholes, utility valves, and water meters to finished grade
• Planting of new street trees
• Removal and replacement of existing traffic striping and pavement markings
• Installation of bicycle friendly catch basin surface grates and connector pipe screens (CPS) units
• Installation of creative crosswalks
• Installation of new bicycle facilities, and
• Traffic Signal Modifications at the following intersections
  • South Verdugo Road and Colorado Boulevard
  • South Verdugo Road and E. Maple Street
  • South Verdugo Road and Acacia Avenue
