Project Location 

The project is located on Wilson Avenue between Central Avenue and North Verdugo Road as shown in the Project Location Map.   

 Scope of Work

• Street pavement rehabilitation
• Selective reconstruction of concrete curb and gutters, cross gutters, driveway and alley aprons, and sidewalks
• Construction of new curb ramps meeting ADA requirements and reconstruction of existing ADA ramps
• Planting of new trees to provide continuous shading
• Install Curb Extensions at all crosswalks between Central Avenue and Adams Street
• Sewer upgrade on Wilson Avenue between Olive Street and Chevy Chase Drive
• Installation of creative crosswalks, new striping, and other pavement markings
• Modification of existing traffic signals at the following intersections: East Wilson Avenue and North Louise Street, East Wilson Avenue and North Kenwood Street, East Wilson Avenue and North Jackson Street, East Wilson Avenue and North Isabel Street, East Wilson Avenue and North Adams Street

The Project is currently in the design phase.

Construction Schedule

Construction is tentatively scheduled to start in spring 2026, barring any unforeseen conditions.
