Utility Users Tax Exemption (UUTE)

The Utility Users Tax is charged to all users of electricity, water, gas, telephone, and cable services within the City of Glendale. The City offers two types of exemptions, senior and disabled exemptions.

Guardian

Provides customers monthly electric bill discounts for users of approved medical equipment.

Helping Hand

Helps customers continue electric service by providing up to $150 in one-time GWP bill payment or deposit assistance.

Glendale Care

$20.50 monthly discount for low-income customers.
