What is the Glendale Care Program?
The Glendale Care Program provides monthly electric bill discounts of $23.50 per month to low-income customers.
Are You Eligible for a Discount?
If you meet the following criteria, you could be eligible for Glendale Care.
- Must be a current GWP electric customer.
- Must be a low-income customer
- You must meet either of the following conditions
- If you or another person in your household receives benefits from any of these programs (you must provide documentation showing benefits):
- CalFresh (Food Stamps)
- California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs)
- CARE Program (Gas Company)
- Glendale Section 8/HUD
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
- Medi-Cal/Medicaid
- Medi-Cal for Families
- National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
- California Lifeline (Phone Company)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Women, Infants & Children (WIC)
- Total income for all persons in your household meets the income guidelines listed below. Must certify under penalty of perjury that your total household income from all sources and all household members meets the income guidelines described to the right. Must provide proof of income.
