The City of Glendale's Glendale Municipal Code (GMC) requires minimum standards be maintained related to the health, safety and welfare of community residents. Some of the primary objectives of the City of Glendale’s code compliance program are:

  • To educate property owners on their responsibilities to maintain their property in habitable condition
  • To bring substandard housing into compliance with City codes
  • To eliminate blight in Glendale’s neighborhoods
  • To preserve the high quality of life in the City
